Facebook is Adding Hashtag Support Today
Now when those obnoxious people on your friends list use 30+ hashtags for every post they make, they'll actually be using legit hashtags.
In a statement from Facebook's newsroom on June 12, product manager Greg Lindley stated that:
"Now you can:
- Search for a specific hashtag from your search bar. For example, #NBAFinals.
- Click on hashtags that originate on other services, such as Instagram.
- Compose posts directly from the hashtag feed and search results."
